Hasan Sipahioglu who went to the Apple Festival in sister city Gladbeck participated to a meeting which was arranged for Twins 2010 Essen Culture Capital Programme.
Alanya Mayor Hasan Sipahioglu participated to the meeting with sister city Gladbeck’s mayor Ulrich Roland and sistercity Schwechat’s mayor Hannes Fazekas.They exchanged their ideas about common photografh competition Project prepared by sister cities during the 2010 Essen Culture Capital. The jury members who are constituted from people of three sister cities will determine 45 photos for the competition which has a subject of ”Reveal your photo.Determine it!The cultures live in our city by this way” .The photos firstly will be exhibited then they will be collected in a catalogue.
WAZ Newspaper which is published in Germany handed the meeting of the mayors on with the title of ”A new blink to Gladbeck” to its readers.The newspaper wrote the common opinions of the three mayors about the photograph competition as ”The photos which tells the history of the sister cities and which explores and reveals the extraordinary face of daily life displays the various cultures living together side by side at Gladbeck and sister cities and they give encourage in order to make the urban life more colorful and alive”
