STUDENT SUPPORT FOR THE PROMOTION OF TURKISH AND FINNISH CULTURE

The students and teachers of Fatma Alaettinoglu Primary School and Hauholan Koulu Primary School of Finland visited Alanya Mayor Hasan Sipahioglu and they shared their European Union Youth Programme Comenius Project with him.

The manager of Finland Group which is consisted of 20 students and 3 teachers Kalevi Scarinen and the director of Fatma Alaettinoglu Primary School Halil Sevim made a common explanation and said “The Project of Meeting Finnish and Turkish Culture will be implemented by the cooperation of Alanya Fatma Alaettinoglu Primary School and Hauholan School”.Project will continue 2 weeks in the framework of European Union Education and Youth Programme Lifelong Learning Comenius Programme.Teachers and Students are going to learn the histories of two countries,cultures,socio-economic structure and education system and language.The most important of all is the mutual visits of both teachers and students.First visit will be from Finland to Alanya on November and second visit will be from Fatma Alaettinoglu School to Kajaani School of Finland on May 2011.
Alanya Mayor Hasan Sipahioglu made an explanation and said “ Fatma Alaettinoglu Primary School and Hauholan School of Finland students and teachers visited Alanya Municipality in the frame of their cooperation.There are many common points between Finnish and Turkish Cultures.Through those cooperations,Finnish and Turkish Cultures will be come out and promoted to the world.Alanya has also a sister city in Finland.” Alanya Mayor offered his thanks to both two delegations and said “ We are going to give our support “
