Alanya which became one of the most important culture and art city of Turkey with the cultural and artistic organizations implemented broke a new ground with the 1st International Noel Bazaar which was opened on 19 December Sunday.

The advisor of Alanya Municipality Foreigners Council Abdullah Karaoglu,Alanya Mayor Hasan Sipahioglu and Alanya Governor Hulusi Dogan made a speech at the opening of the bazaar.The subjects of living together and tolerance took the attention at the speeches.Alanya Mayor Hasan Sipahioglu told that the bazaar would become traditional in the following years.After the opening speeches,the music groups of the schools and the chorus sang Christmas songs and they showed performances.The Santa Claus who came from Finland gave some gifts to the children as a present and he thanked to Alanya Mayor for such a successful organization.
Foreign Associations,honorary consulates and non governmental organizations opened stands and presented their culture at the Noel Bazaar which was opened by the leadership of Alanya Municipality Foreigners Council.Besides presenting their cultural identities,the representatives sold coffe,cookies,national drinks,foods and souveniers for Christmas at the stands.The Money collected from the sales will be granted to a non governmental institution which Works for the sake of children.
Entertaintment and the organizations at the Harbour area lasted until late in the evening.
