 The children from the sister city Wodzislkaw Slaski took photos with Mayor Hasan Sipahioglu.The children from the sister cities Poland, Lithuania and Latvia arrived so as to congratulate April 23, The National Sovereignty and Children’s Day and thanked Mayor Hasan Sipahioglu for the invitation. The sister city children from Wodzislaw-Poland, Talsi-Latvia and Trakai-Lithuania will march in the cortege and watch the Turkish children’s demonstrations on April 23, The National Sovereignty and Children’s day. The invited children will sing and dance in traditional costumes within the contex of Urbanball Sports Organization which will be held on April 23 at 14:00 in the harbour. Mayor Hasan Sipahioglu remarked the importance of the children exchange program and said “The cildren’s mutual visits are so important for us. We highly consider such exchanges between the sister cities and believe that such activities made for the children indicate important investments for the future.”
