Every Sunday pioneered by retired teacher Hasim Yetkin, Healthy Living Marchers meet in front of Ataturk monument and march to Emirgan daily recreational facilities made by Alanya Municipality. Mayor Hasan Sipahioglu welcomed the marchers on their arrival to Emirgan. Hasim Yetkin made a speech “Dear Mayor has invited us for breakfast and jogging on this special Mother’s Day. We accepted the invitation with pleasure. While jogging, we had the chance to see the beauties Alanya Municipality created on the way from Ataturk monument along the 7 km road. We also had the opportunity to see the renovated Emirgan daily recreational facility where we once came very often for picnic and swimming in our childhood. We thank Dear Mayor for his invitation. We also congratulate Dear Mayor, Manager of Parks and Gardening Nazmi Uyar and Hande Doru, the project draftsman, from the heart. Mayor Hasan Sipahioglu, showing around Emirgan to the marchers said “I advise everyone to see the recent state of Emirgan. We tired our best to provide what is needed for daily comfort here. Our citizens can come here for picnic and use the beach free of charge.” Mayor Hasan Sipahioglu took a tour of Emirgan with Healthy Living Marchers and informed about the renovations. |
