The solid waste elimimation institution which was started to construct on 2007 around Mahmutseydi came into the service with its all units.
 The distributed wastes in our town started to be eliminated in 2.7 hectares storage area.Mayor of Alanya Mr Hasan Sipahioğlu went for the exploration of the area and declared that the project of Collection of package wastes separately will be enlarged and the upper sides of local road including Kütürüp will be in the project in the following days.The most important characteristic that differs between regular storage processing and Unlimited storage processing is controlling the area technically by overwieving parameters like gas exit or leakage water before opening the area before usage.Isolation and drainage line workings done at the area interferes the leakage water to mix underground and surface water.Besides that, gas collection chimneys are created for eliminating and collecting the gases which are formed in the home wastes stored during construction.All the preventions are taken for every kind of affect which are the results of the activities within the regular storage institution.
One of the units takes place in Alanya Solid Waste Elimination Institution is "Waste Decomposition Unit".As is known, Collection of Package Wastes Separately in their source project continues in Güllerpınarı, Cumhuriyet, Çarşı, Hacet, Şekerhane, Kadıpaşa, Saray ve Kızlarpınarı districts at the apartments which finished the education of building manager.40 meetings are arranged,2013 apartment and 19136 houses started application till today.
Package wastes like papers,carton papers,glass,metal and plastics collected from apartments,schools,offices and hotels are collected by a specific team and classified in Waste Decomposition Unit. Waste Decomposition Unit has rubbish transfer conveyor,tracked conveyor,rubbish sorting conveyor,iron allocation conveyor,rubbish bailing machine,rubbish sorting building ventilation fan units.Daily waste classification of the establishment is 90 cubic meter.Classified wastes are sent to related recycling Establishments after pressing and bailing processes.
