I guess everyone heard about the pearl of Mediterranean,Alanya.Alanya is a touristic city which completes the gorgeus appearance of Taurus Mountains at the coast of Mediterranean and has more than 100.000 touristic beds,has 70 kilometres of shore band and which is 130 kilometres far away from Antalya Airport.
Alanya is one of the candidates of being one of the biggest holiday villages of the world through the works done with the cooperation of municipality and artisans. The tourism in Alanya is enriched with sport organizations besides the unique natural products like tourism,history,nature,sand and sun.
We are perpetuating our promotion activities with our twin
cities which we obtained from European Countries and China
by the way of participating international tourism fairs
every year.Around 7000-8000 foreigners bought properties
from Alanya and settled here.There is a graveyard for the
foreigners near the Municipality graveyard.Those people are
going to the same bazaar with local people,they are eating
in the same restaurant moreover they like from the same
things,It is very possible to see a whole culture mosaic in
Alanya.
Non-Governmental Organisations and local administration are working in a harmony in order to protect and improve the current possibilities and to offer new opportunities to the tourists and local people.Alanya ,may be,succeeded a first in Turkey and implemented a cooperation between a city and a university.An initiative group which is formed by the participation of some non-governmental organisations,with the coordination of the Municipality,signed a contract with Yıldız Technical University.We are aiming to determine the future of our city with “Alanya Development Project” projects implemented within the framework of the contract.
