Who is Osman Tarık Özçelik?

Osman Tarık Özçelik was born on November 1, 1962 in Alanya. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Alanya. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Engineering as a Chemical Engineer in 1985. He did his military service in Ankara Etimesgut.

Özçelik started his business life in 1985 as a fruit and vegetable broker in Gazipaşa. Family companies defined as OFM Group continue their marketing and sales activities, which they started in 1992, in Ankara, Afyon, Kütahya, Antalya, Kemer and Manavgat regions as well as Alanya. Family companies also operate in the tourism sector with Çimen Hotel, one of the symbol facilities of Alanya, in the health sector with the Private OFM Hospital established in Antalya Center, and in the agricultural sector with tropical fruit production at industrial level.

Osman Tarık Özçelik has also been a Member of the Board of Trustees of Alanya University as a social responsibility activity for 8 years. Özçelik is also an active supporter of Alanyaspor Football Club, one of the brand values of our Alanya. Osman Tarık Özçelik attaches great importance to basic education and continues to contribute financially and morally to all needs of the secondary school they built in the name of his late father, Hamit Özçelik.

Osman Tarık Özçelik is married to our valuable teacher Canan Özçelik, whom he met 44 years ago during his university years, and is the father of 2 daughters and grandfather of 1 grandson.

Osman Tarık Özçelik, who participated in the local elections held on 31.03.2024 as the Mayoral Candidate of the Republican People's Party, was elected as the Mayor of Alanya with the favor of our citizens and officially started his duty as of 5.04.2024.
