It is situated on a hill (Gavurbeleni) between Hacılar and
Esen Tepe Villages at northwestern of Alanya. Ruins belonging to the city at
hill and its sides are fortified. Wall was built with large block stones and
city gate and towers appertaining to it are at west. It is understood that many
structures from ancient period above plateaus on the hill are found. Among
these, olive ateliers, houses, agora and graves can be discerned. It is named
as Pisarissos because of an inscription found in ruins. Ruins belong to
Hellenistic and Roman period. They are in worse condition.
