At 37 km west of Alanya and 9 km inside from the sea, by
Seljuk Sultan Alaeddin Keyqubad, it has today’s appearance by rebuilding in
1232 and by protecting ruins inside. The castle was constructed to guard main
trade road and Alara Khan in its period. It is thought that merchant ships came
to the front of the castle.
