Ruins of the ancient city are found on two elevations at
Asartepe, 670 meter height above the sea level. Because of an inscription found
in here, it is understood that the city, called Marassos, had settlement since
Hellenistic period. The temple constructed on a big rock block, a structure for
seating, olive atelier, graves and its structures in necropolis are remained
from the ancient city in present. A spring on southeastern of the ancient city
and a wall with relief, next to it, are found.
