Ottoman small mosque from 19th century was a lathing
structure which was in ruined condition before its restoration and its
existence was understood by traces and archival photographs. The building was
restorated by using local craftsmen and traditional construction techniques
with its original materials and architectural details. Ceiling veneer of the
structure at upstairs is cedar and larch which was used in traditional
buildings of Alanya in that period. The door as surrounding and traditional
structures of Alanya in same period was made from solid wood. Also, all
components of the roof were built with solid wood as traditional buildings of
Alanya.
