Alara Khan is found at side of the Alara Brook, away 800 m
to Alara Castle. Entirely made from ashlars, 2000 square meter khan was built
in 1231. While Alaeddin Kayqubad I called himself as the sultan of the two seas
and owner of Arab and Persian countries in inscriptions at Alanya, he took the
title in inscription at Alara Khan as ”the conqueror of Greek, Damascus,
Armenian and European countries”.
