GEDEVET PLATEAU
It is in border of Pınarbaşı Plateau. According to
rumour, during the period of Sultan Fatih Mehmet, Gedik Ahmet Paşa was
nominated to take Alaiye from Karamanoğulları, he came to Alaiye from Konya
through Taşatan and Gedevet roads. Due to that story it is known “Gedevet” name
comes from “Gedik”. Its elevation above the sea level is 1050 m. Decorated with
ceramics fountain is in steady. In this plateau you can grow the vegetables as
apple, pear, cranberry, nut, chestnut, grape, fig etc.
