Adjacent to southeastern wall of the castle and entirely
built with stone, the former name of the structure with rectangular plan is Aya
Yorgi Church. There is a mihrab on east of the structure, which its top is
domed. It is interesting by reflecting three periods of the castle as use of
work. At first, a church was built in Byzantine period on a square plan tower
with 6 m width belonging to Hellenistic period. In Seljuk time, church was kept
during the construction of old walls and used as a small mosque. The structure
carries features of 11th and 12th century in terms of style.
